Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park

 I found this amazing park near my house called Leo Carrillo Ranch Park for portrait photography. I bet this is a great place for wedding photography as well.  I love the Peacocks hanging out in the background everywhere.  Makes for some unique park child photography in Carlsbad!

 Sophia loved the Peacocks here and so she easily stood for me to take the photos. Huge Peacocks around kind of freezes toddlers in their tracks.

 It was a chilly day yesterday for Carlsbad, but you can't go wrong with beach family portraits!  I just love that this beach is 10 minutes away from my house.  What a dreamy backdrop.  I think our next family portraits need to be done on the beach too.

Jayden turns 7 weeks!

This little guy was one easy baby to photograph! Completely alert and not fussy the entire time.  A miracle for a 7 week old.  Here's him giving us his best serious look.

Even we got a head start on our family photos! I took this one of my husband, Josh and Sophia. We love Lake Temescal for family portraits, has such a beautiful backdrop.  I know I keep saying this but it really looks different every time I work there.
